Choose Amazon For Music Downloads

Just FYI, after a reading a recent slashdot article it compelled me to blog about the fact that iTunes still uses drm...meaning that you don't own the music you buy and you cannot do whatever you want with it. Amazon uses extremely high quality LAME MP3 files with zero drm. And here's the clincher, it adds the music, perfectly tagged, to your iTunes library automagically. Buying music from iTunes with drm=fail.

MSNBC - But believe you me … if you walk into Home wearing a female avatar (because, you know, you actually happen to be a female in real life), you better be prepared to be approached by packs of dude avatars who will, literally, surround you and say things like:

"u r hot"

"nice rack"

"you look hot"

"are you a guy or a gay?"

"you are hot!"

"hope you don't mind being the meat in dis sandwich"


Yeah, that's pretty accurate so far. PS Home will happily let players use a Bluetooth headset and/or a keyboard, few people do, however. This creates an environment whereby communication is at a level even more profoundly stupid than it would be otherwise. Suffice it to say that it's a pain in the ass to type using the control pad. But I scored a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard \o/, I also have a headset...now if I could only find someone to talk to...
