Just FYI, after a reading a recent slashdot article it compelled me to blog about the fact that iTunes still uses drm...meaning that you don't own the music you buy and you cannot do whatever you want with it. Amazon uses extremely high quality LAME MP3 files with zero drm. And here's the clincher, it adds the music, perfectly tagged, to your iTunes library automagically. Buying music from iTunes with drm=fail.

mp3.WALMART.com offers much of its music in DRM-free 256k. (I guess it does depend on if you support Walmart's ethic of censorship or if the music you desire is not gangster-rap or anti-catholic). Have you sir ever tried using their services?
I haven't been able to find all of the music I want on WallMART (yet?). Amazon MP3 is still my favorite by far!
Um, you might remember Wal*Mart threatening to nix their DRM server, thus rendering 100% of the music people have downloaded unplayable. They decided to keep it up (for now) after an uproar from customers. And censorship? You've got to be kidding me. I'd rather french George Bush than buy music from Wal*Mart.
